Oh wow...I forgot to mention ...I have been on prednisone for 10 days...started at 60 mg for 4 days and have been tapering off...4 more days of prednisone and done. Considering the relatively high dose, I am patting myself on the back for being able to stick with the eating plan. Prednisone makes me HUNGRY and makes me crave things I shouldn't have. So kudos to me. I think I will start to exercise a couple times during the second week ...build up to doing some strenuous activity 4-5 times a week. I think i will start with Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Either a walk or some minutes on the Bowflex Max5 machine in the office. I CAN and WILL do this.

Pred is a two edged sword. I also get crazy cravings when on it, but if it's doing it's job, I also have enough energy to work out through the cravings. Keep going!
