How did this happen? I came back from a 6 month sabbatical in Europe determined to take off about 5 pounds. Weight I put on while telling myself, I'm not going to stress about weight, just eat sensibly but enjoy myself. I was doing pretty good after several days of getting back on the wagon, down about a pound then we took off Saturday for a group ride in Ohio. On Sunday we rode for about five hours of pretty hard riding and while I ate fairly well the food offered was not too nutritious. I got on the scale thinking my weight would be at least what it was Saturday morning, but no, it was up a pound. Grrr. Burn a couple of thousand extra calories and it SHOULD not cause a weight gain. Maybe it will be back down tomorrow, probably ate something with extra salt.
