You can do it! It can be so hard. I grew up in a tight-knit family. We would celebrate holidays, and it seemed like food was the focal point of the celebrations. I think that I had an addiction to food for a period of time, but I decided that I wanted to change my way of thinking and live a healthy lifestyle. I'm not on a diet; just making a normal lifestyle change, cutting calories and exercising more. I am consuming 1200-1500 a day, but sometimes less. Water is a great thing too :) Salads are becoming my best friend. We can do it! :) Just by making a "lifestyle change" and watching portions, not cutting anything out, I lost 32 ibs. over the course of three months. This forum is awesome!
