I am back after a long absence and see that I have gained approximately 15 lbs since this time last year. I am disgusted with myself but am starting fresh! I am a victim of the SugarCarb Monster and am very motivated to get the weight off and keep it off! Also..water is a problem for me so I am vowing to get in at least my 8 glasses per day..every day and make this a complete change in lifestyle.
269.0 lb Lost so far: 16.0 lb.    Still to go: 14.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

You can do it! It can be so hard. I grew up in a tight-knit family. We would celebrate holidays, and it seemed like food was the focal point of the celebrations. I think that I had an addiction to food for a period of time, but I decided that I wanted to change my way of thinking and live a healthy lifestyle. I'm not on a diet; just making a normal lifestyle change, cutting calories and exercising more. I am consuming 1200-1500 a day, but sometimes less. Water is a great thing too :) Salads are becoming my best friend. We can do it! :) Just by making a "lifestyle change" and watching portions, not cutting anything out, I lost 32 ibs. over the course of three months. This forum is awesome!

I am right there with you. I seem to be on a 10lb weight gain each year but no more! Water is the hardest part for me but you can do it, because I am doing it. Weekends are the hardest for me to get my water intake it so just plan ahead to have some cold water with you at all times. Take all potatoes, pasta out of your house. I have my husband keeping me accountable at home so I do cook those for him but have a meat and veggie when it comes to my meals.
