syndi55's Journal, 01 April 2015

Well Happy April fools day...I hope everyone has a great day and being the first of the month you are thinking just like I am of the new goals to set for the month.
Im going to incorporate my body blade and weights because my arms look like jello and my legs are not tone at all, and amp up my doing zumba, also accomplish the step riser I have been speaking about.
Im going to do research on new low carb recipes to prepare and try different and healthier foods. One of my plans was motivated from my veggie buddy, I like to incorporate more ways to eat vegetables and recipes that are meatless also.
Im going to drink every day this month at least half my weight in water ounces, and I mean every day lol and exercise daily like I have been its beginning to become of habit now Yay!
Well getting ready for the day of our next spring break adventure we are going to go to the park by the river and have lunch.
Yesterday we went to see Cinderella together, although I did share a diet soda with her we brought along cheese sticks and celery sticks just incase the smell of popcorn gave us a desire to snack.
I hope every one has a fantastic day today.. its going to be near 70 here and sunny and I just love these sunny spring days, Yay.

i'm going for toning up too Syndi55, my hubby was always nagging me to do some weights but i was too concerned with cardio and burning calories. now i'm at goal weight i've really got no excuses left!! this workout on Youtube is a killer, the woman has muscles on muscles. (lots of swearing and screaming going on when i do it!!) http://preview.tinyurl.com/kklpu7b. not yet managed the whole thing but i can see my tummy muscles for the first time ever. my son is taking me hiking over the Easter hols, and we are going to do some"land art" (i'll have to google it) he is on break from Art college and this is his homework. not sure why i have to be dragged in but hey ho...

just come back from doing "land art" @Syndi55, had fun and the sun even came out for us! i know i'm biased but my son is a lovely lad, he is 18 and there is just no ego about him, he loves the simple things in life - sunshine, nature, walking i hope he makes it in the art world, it is not an easy life. he'll always have mum's support what ever he does

No I feel the same way about my daughter drullae, her beauty is similar to a barbie doll, long blond hair, green eyes just lovely to look at but there isn't the trace of ego in her either. She loves to give of her time to assist many in need she has such a huge heart and a very soulful person, she too will be 18 and its rare in young people to fit that mold anymore, we are fortunate. It sounds like you mum have done an excellent job. Im happy your having a great time..whats land art?

it s basically making patterns with stones, sand, mud, leaves and wood, anything natural and you do it in situ so to speak out on the land. wish i could post pics of what we did. Sean (my son) has just informed me he needs a belt for his boxer shorts as they keep falling down!! he is 6ft 3in and needs to run round in the shower to get wet!! my other son is a salesman and has an ego the size of a planet! becoming a father at 19 humbled him a little bit but not much. love em both to bits. you are lucky having a daughter, she sounds lovely, i was hoping for a granddaughter but no luck another boy
