So far so good with the dieting. I'm not killing myself when it comes to counting carbs. I'm mostly avoiding baked goods, pasta, potatoes and rice. I'm allowing myself some leeway on the beans and corn. Only because I love them so. And they're vegetables that are good for me, right? And OMG, the lima bean salad I had at Cravings on Thursday was unbelievable.

So unless the scale was way off (which is possible as it needed a new battery), I've lost 10 pounds this week. Not too shabby. I'm making sure to keep my protein up so I'm not going to lose too much muscle mass. And I'm getting a minimum of 8 hours of sleep a night. More like 9 or 10. Though the nights I get to bed early enough for 10 hours usually means I'll be awake an hour or so at night. But still! Yay me!

And just so I'm not too disappointed this week at not losing 10 pounds - which is obviously going to be ridiculously hard to pull off 2 weeks in a row. I'm really just counting since Jun 23. So really FOR SURE I've lost 2 pounds this week. Which is much more reasonable. But sad. Very, very sad. :)
