Okay I decided to try the Zumba step dvd, my daughter had made a comment its a butt kicker mom and shes 17, lol.
Well Im here to report you bet your sweet backside it is.. and thats why all the young ladies on that dvd have them sweet backsides, because that work out will give you one lol.
I honestly enjoyed it, its difficult for me now but I did get to the tempa section and thats almost to the end of the dvd.
No I couldn't jump around as much or as high as the instructors did but I kept moving and I improvised my steps when needed.
Im aware it takes strength and commitment to be able to do the step riser and I know one day soon I will do it and be able to get through and even be able to dance and jump around like the little rabbit instructors on the dvd lol.
Anyhow later when my daughter and I get back from our park adventure
Im still going to do my 20 min zumba express workout, that one Im better at and tomorrow, and on my off days, I will work on my zumba step riser .
That's the plan everyone.. now lets see how committed this girl really is :)

Good for you! I have only tried the express but may have to try the Zumba step when I get home. You will be at your goal before you know it :)

Yeah come on in my buddy, the waters fine lol plus I got 5 yrs. on you, and I don't kick box...yet ...Im sure my little buddy instructor you will get me into that too. As I stated before on your last post, we keep feeding off one another by exercising and we are going to be in great shape by summer.... or we will look similar to the stick figures on the backs of peoples vehicles..lol

The kickboxing I do is easier than Zumba, I promise :) I can't wait to try that DVD. I hope to look like a stick figure one day, lol

totally in awe of anybody who does Zumba! i'm so uncoordinated no way i'm doing it, i'll stick to walking and jogging, one foot in front of other i can manage that! going to have a go at Tai Chi though. :)

Well drullae in no way, shape, or form can I move like the instructors but Im able to keep up with the 20 min express, I don't jump as high my hips don't move like the little girls on the dvd but Im moving and that's what counts for now. I know my body is out of shape and as I build muscle I will see improvement. You impressed me very much with all you do so that is nothing to sneeze at my friend, have a great day.
