Beginning a new journey today. Yesterday, I bought Rena Tosca's book "The Eat-Clean Diet Stripped - Peel off Those Last 10 Pounds" and today I am ready to begin the 28-day journey. The book says it guarantees that I'll lose 10 pounds and have my dream body at the end of it. I don't want to be too unrealistic but this is really exciting. I don't know that I have 10 pounds to lose... maybe 5 - 8... but there probably is an extra 10 pounds of fat under there. The meal plan looks doable... just going to be tough for the time I'm going to be out of town. I thought about postponing it but is there ever a 'perfect' time to do something like this?

Reasons why I'm doing this:
To lose at least 5 pounds of stubborn weight
To make my body look more toned, maybe even a little ripped???
To try out new healthy foods

I don't think anyone can actually guarantee anything like that, but it's a good book. Don't jut focus on the scale. Eating clean helps you lose body fat so you will lose inches too. Look at it this way, if you lose 4 pounds and go go down a size in a month, how amazing would that be. Make sure you get in some exercise too. Mix cardio with some intervals and strength training and you will transform your body. Good luck!!!

Thanks Suzi... Yes I am exercising too. I've been eating fairly clean and exercising as a way of life for a few years not but just decided to kick it up a notch. The book has a weight-lifting routine to be alternated with cardio and some interval training. I'll try to just do what it says and hope for the best! Yes, inches are actually more important to me than the pounds. And since muscle weighs more than fat, I need to keep that in mind! :)
