Somebody Else's Journal, 26 February 2015

Kinda weird, but I swear when I eat chocolate I lose weight. xD Granted, lately I've been eating very good quality chocolate, mostly cocoa.

Anywho, things are looking promising.

Almost 200g of carbs today. Lowering carb intake has been fantastic for me, but I keep having the occasional day where I go too high. I've been targeting the 100-150 mark, which seems to work well enough. I don't end up as bloated if at all, I retain less water... yeah, it's good. Just need to keep at it more.

It's annoying that yummy things are so damn carb-full. I have a tendancy of focusing too much on calories, during the day, until I come on this site, then get a reality check. This site is amazing for that. xD

Oooo, I think I like you! I love good quality dark choc but not sure I share the gene that keeps it off my hips.

xD 74 percent cocoa stuff... is amazing.

I will have to check that out, maybe Trader Joe's carries a good dark chocolate.

I think it might have something to do with cleaning the body out. Also, I looked it up online and apparently high cocoa chocolate avoids insulin spike which keeps hunger at bay and prevents sugar going to the fat cells or summat.

I do admit, a small piece of the good stuff can keep me quite satiated and avoiding addl sweets days on end.
