Played "Guinea Pig" today...tried the new plant based protein powder and I really liked it. It definitely needed the frozen banana to thicken it up, but tomorrow I may use soaked chia seeds as I am out of bananas... what was really amazing was I consumed it around 10 AM, and did not get hungry till after 1PM, but felt a fabulous slow and steady energy build inside of me. I did not need my afternoon snack. I did consume a roast beef sandwich around 1:30 (approx 400 calories). Dinner was around 6PM and I ate a well balanced meal and don't feel the need for anything else. I was hoping it wasn't going to taste awful... I can't eat something even if it's good for me, if I can't stand it...It's made from peas, hemp, brown rice protein and tons of other goodies...they must know just how much cocoa powder to add to mask all those other flavors...Hoping the vanilla is just as good.
