I hope you have protein in there too. Protein helps us lose fat and maintain our muscle mass. Good luck!

Not sure if you are under a doctors care, but when you don't get enough protein, the weight you lose is not just fat, its muscle too. As you lose the muscle, you slow your metabolism down making it more difficult to lose and maintain the weight loss. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn at rest, the more easy losing and maintaining weight becomes. Protein is what helps us lose fat and maintain our muscle. As we age, we lose muscle mass which is why we start gaining weight as we get older. Protein will also keep your from getting hungry because it satiates us better than any other food groups. You can get some protein from veggies but it may not be enough. I do wish you well though.

Yeah, Suzi is right. I use protein shakes as well, 'though not just for weight loss with minimal muscle loss, but use it to gain muscle, too. So much easier than rely on regular food for protein. (I do both) Are you definitely eating a caloric deficit? Are you sure you have the right amount for your things like height and weight? For example, I shoot for 2000kcal a day (fasting days 600kcal, 2 fasts a week) which is about 1000kcal deficit, for quite a considerable weight loss. What Suzi said about protein helping to keep you from getting hungry is something I also second. I have a protein shake in the morning, almost every morning (if not, I move my salad to the morning)which is 136kcal, and I think is something like 27g of protein. It's a big heavy on the calories, but it's not too bad. I often find it helps curb hunger. Protein becomes an energy source after a while, or rather, your body gets used to using it as an energy source, hence it helping you feel less hungry, I suppose. That's why when you're tired at night, have a crap diet of sugary crap, you end up craving sugary food like chocolate, because your body is used to using is as fuel. What you could try is upping the length or intensity of your exercising. If you walk for 30 minutes once a while, casually, that's not enough... up the speed, add some hills, and bump it up to an hour or more. Also, you may be overdoing the fruit. Personally, and this I've heard from others too, I typically avoid fruit (especially large amounts) while trying to lose weight, because it's got so much sugar in it. In one day, I'll have 10-20 grapes at most, these days. Sugary crap I get from treats like dark chocolate. (good for bowels and apparently has some other health benefits, but I treat it as a treat) Anywho, sorry for rambling on. Hope at least some of it was useful. Oh and also, I dunno if you're doing resistance workouts, but if not, I suggest starting. The bigger the engine, the more fuel you burn.
