Really let myself go over the holidays. It's hard to say no to the hearty Slovak food my mom makes and all the sweets and what not... I have a problem with eating even after I'm full, because my taste buds crave it. I wouldn't say I'm an emotional eater, I just genuinely enjoy the taste of almost all foods as well as the creative aspect behind inventing and cooking meals. The foods I gravitate toward the most are fatty ones, like cheese. I love cheese. Practicing self-restraint toward over-eating is especially hard when school gets stressful. Food almost acts as a de-stress-er for me... until it passes through my esophagus and sits in my stomach. Then I just feel like crap. How do you manage your impulses? I can control myself in any other aspect, except when it comes to food. How do I stop myself from going back for seconds, or thirds? Just today I tried to eat a single serving of cottage cheese and liked it so much I had two instead. HELP!
