Just had a meeting about my vegetarian group. The official name is the "C-U Area Vegetarian Group". YAY! It's going to be starting in May, only because the event program is already printed up through April. That gives me 3 months to get all the details hammered out, and build excitement, and get people interested. I plan to start a facebook page, a meet up event (or whatever they are called), and I want to plaster the area with flyers.
If anyone else has ideas on how to build interest in a group I'm all ears!
In other news, feeling better. Gained 1/2 lb while I was sick. SERIOUSLY!!? I'm the only person in the world who can gain weight while sick.
Today hoping to do some cooking for the freezer. Wholefoodnut you are my inspiration. Wish me luck.

Mailchimp is fab for mailing lists and sending emails out to subscribers. I love it. Hows the no sugar going?

Thanks everyone! Definitely a big help. Poor JW I feel your frustration. I've fought with this site a lot. For links I tend to just put a space in the middle of the link to confuse the computer. IT's STUPID! I have had some luck with the app. I just downloaded it. I was able to scan and up load a bar code. Maybe uninstall and try reinstalling. I was thinking about meetup, it's a little more than I wanted to spend. Maybe once the group gets started we can collect dues for that. Bummer. I've never heard of mailchimp I will definitely look that up. 2,000 emails for free, so that's in my price range. As far as vegenazis, I have a mission statement that this group will be a 100% no judgement zone, and I hope to have a different member lead the meeting each month. That way they can have their turn and everyone feels they are a vested member of the group. Still no sugar so yay! Am going to record a journal today.
