Feeling deflated today. Worked out TWICE, count 'em 2 times, yesterday and I'm the same weight. When I first decided to start losing weight, I was losing practically a pound a day. Then I had that rebound, up 3lbs, and they've been a VERY difficult 3lbs to lose again... I recognize healthy weight loss is slow and steady, but that doesnt' help the feelings of frustration that I'm experiencing today. Just makes me want to cut down even MORE calories, but I imagine that doesn't work too well, either, since your body goes into starvation mode. *sigh* I dunno... I'll just stick to it and hope that things get better soon. On the bright side, I did my 100 crunches yesterday and have done 25 of my 50 push-ups for today. So just 25 more push-ups and 100 crunches for today to meet my challenge. I like this challenge, because I think it will help me to start seeing the toning that really makes you feel like all these lifestyle changes are worth it! Arms, chest, back and sides, and especially the core! It's great!
My friend told me about a 100 pushup challenge. I think I'm going to utilize their system, which will help me get to 50 and then I can eventually be all the way up to 100!
215.0 lb Lost so far: 9.8 lb.    Still to go: 30.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

If you stop relying on the scale and more on the inches that you're losing and how your clothes fit, you can stay more motivated. I have the same problem. I used to be in the military and built a lot of muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat and holds water, so even though it appears that you're not losing weight, you're slowly changing your body composition on the inside. Just hang in there and keep up the good work! PS I weighed 150 pounds and wore a size 3/4...does this help? Right now I weigh in the 170's and wear a size 10/12. My new goal is 140 and a size 5/6 (I'm a little older now than I was back then...taking age into account for goal-setting). Sounds like you'd also be a good candidate for the Body for Life Challenge...
