Morning BG 87 and down a lb. In the last 2 weeks or so I've lost 2 inches off my hips and about an inch each off my thigh and calf. My belly isn't changing so will most likely be the last to go. It use to be the last place I would gain but thanks to insulin resistance that changed in these last years.

Through this last year I have seen a direct correalation between my morning (and evening) blood sugars and my weight loss. When my morning blood sugars are kept under 95 I tend to drop the pounds but over 95 it tends to slow or stall. Waking with a blood sugar in the 80's...I can drop a pound or two overnight so keeping my blood sugars in check has many advantages.

Looking outside we have a wee bit of sun. I hope it lasts!

Got my cup of coffee and a list of things to do.
