I haven't recorded my food intake in a while. I can see what a difference it makes in my grazing habits. Awareness is important. Starting back today and I will be as accurate as possible.
159.2 lb Lost so far: 52.8 lb.    Still to go: 9.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Diet Calendar Entry for 27 April 2011:
2078 kcal Fat: 104.05g | Prot: 90.75g | Carb: 193.67g.   Breakfast: cranberry green tea, organic dry coconut, fage yogurt. Lunch: black bean and corn salad, basil, tomato, mozzarella, ground beef. Dinner: scrambled eggs, english cheddar, banana, marmalade, french bread, cantaloupe, planters nut-rition digestive health mix, potato salad. Snacks/Other: coffee, 1% milk, 85% dark chocolate, Planters Nut-rition Digest Health Mix. more...

Hi Coco! You might want to consider actually planning out your meals ahead of time on the food planner. I do that all the time, except dinner is always a "wild card" since I don't control that, other than by portions! I've been logging my food for years. I like to play with the numbers... swap this for that. I know some people dislike logging... but for me... really it's just a couple minutes in the day!

Matt, when you say on the "food planner," is there an app that you use? Or are you just using the "enter food" function on this site and filling it in before you eat the meals? I've just been typing in stuff after I eat it. Maybe that's how I get in trouble!

Coco... no, it's right here on the FS Diet Calendar. I sort of plan out my meals ahead of time. I confess though... my meals tend to be static from week to week, so it might be easier for me!

Wow..thanks Matt I need to check out the food planner as I never used it or knew it was there...Sheesh one year and four months on this site and I am still learning new things, lmao....We can do this Coco! TOWANDA!!!

That would be great, but I'm not seeing it! How is it listed? I admit I'm one of those who will be staring right at something and not see it. lol

I think Matt is referring to just entering stuff in the food log ahead of time. You can put stuff in far out in advance.

Thanks Radio -- I wasn't sure about that either. It does make sense, but the trick is, can I stick to the menu I plan for myself? That would be a challenge!
