Well .... the renovators found wood rot in the bay window. It has to be assessed to see what to do tomorrow .. sigh! All I see are $$$ signs now - waiting for the next shoe to drop. It will be worth it once it's done. The painter did a walk through and will send his estimate - he gave me a ball park already and it's $2000 for the labour plus about another $2000 for the materials. YIKES!!! That's already double what I had hoped! Not sure what I will do until I hear the cost of the window situation. Bay windows are expensive to replace so I hope it's fixable.
