Hello, my dears! Happy Monday! (if a Monday CAN be happy, that is!)

Weekend went pretty well, it was nice just relaxing with the hubby and pups. Saturday, we did a little shopping and had a nice dinner. I actually MADE myself only eat half of it and I have the other half for lunch today, it's kind of nice being able to do that now. "Back in the day" I used to eat until I was stuffed to the gills, now as long as the initial hunger is gone I have no problem stopping. Oh, and then Sunday, football....yep, that's it....football all day....glorious! Our 3 favorite teams were on at the 3 different times, best football day ever!

Lots of good new recipes to try this week, I'm pumped! I found out that our town has a "Winter" Farmer's Market, I'm not really sure how that's going to work unless people have hydroponic gardens but I guess we'll see. And it's Sunday late mornings which is awesome because I could never quite get up in time for the Saturday summer ones (6-8am, are you kidding me?).

I have decided to start looking into opening a shop on Etsy. I like making crafty stuff, I actually made all of the decorations and flower arrangements for our wedding. It's fun and it'll give me some extra moolah hopefully. Just cute little things like painted mason jars, picture frames, chalkboards...I love that shabby chic style. I'm also considering learning how to knit. I'm a sucker for a knit scarf, hat, blanket...you name it! So, why not make them myself and if I get good, I can sell them too! I mean, whether it's online or at the craft shows/farmer's markets, somebody will buy something right? I guess we'll see!!!!
