Congrats to you and your students! I play the piano. I wish I played better than I did, and probably could if my parents would have gotten me started when I wanted to as a kid. I took lessons after I graduated high school. I've slacked on my practicing, but I am technically the piano player at church. We have a lot of musical talent in our church, from mandolins to banjos, fiddles, etc.  

Kendra, all those instruments sound wonderful! It's never too late to play better, at this stage it's just a matter of having the time to practice which may or may not fit into your very busy life now, that doesn't mean it won't fit better at some other time, especially once the kids are older. I kind of fell into this teaching thing...I have wanted to but was hoping to wait until my kids were a little older. Well, the lady at our church who gave lessons eyed me the minute she heard me play and knew she'd found her replacement. I was fine with taking over her students, but didn't realize her timetable and mine didn't exactly match. But God has blessed it. I am SOOOO PROUD of those kids! They continue to amaze me.
