I restarted my diet and weight history when I started the SBD on my doctor's recommendation, but last fall I lost around 17 pounds, and kept about 13 of them off. My highest weight was 242. Today, I have officially lost 30 lbs. from that high-water mark.

My belly hasn't shifted much (although the new jeans I bought right before going to the doctor are going to need to be taken in, and I've had to ask my boyfriend to punch two new notches in my belt - that I wasn't using the tightest notch on, to begin with.), but my arms are noticeably thinner, their stretch-marks are almost a memory. My legs, which have always been muscular, are showing more definition than usual (I have the outer-quad tear-drop-shaped thing going on), and overall I'm pretty pleased with myself.

My biggest concern is still losing lean mass along with the fat, so I'm continuing to keep protein consumption relatively high (well, trying), and have started full-body resistance training twice a week.

Still about 6 weeks from my next follow-up appointment; hopefully the doc will be as pleased with my progress as I am.
