This adjusting to healthier eating is more difficult than I thought it would be....I think I'm still eating too many carbs...any suggestions? I'm also not getting much support at home....I don't think my husband will be supportive until he can actually see the weight loss. Right now he just complains about the cost of the protein shakes and such...it seems to be a bit more costly to go to the grocery store when you quit buying crap food and start buying healthier. I need support from someone and I'm not getting much at home...

Looks like you are off to a great start! The summer months mean that fruit and vegetables are quite abundant and cheaper than the colder months. You might be able to find less expensive shakes or get protein powder and make up your own shakes. I enjoy reading Oxygen and Hers Fitness magazines for inspiration. They have good articles, recipes and workouts. I also like to go on Pinterest.com and type in "fitness motivation or inspiration" for motivation. They have pics, recipes, quotes, etc. Good luck!
