*sign* I was watching Extreme Weight lost yesterday and he said something that really stuck out to me....he said. "You can look at all the before and after weight lost pics you want but until you take care of your emotional baggage you will not lose the weight." Something like that. Don't t qoute me. LOL. My emotional baggage that I am eating up is the fact that being placed in foster care did not protect me and my sister from being physically, mentally and sexually abused. It happened in the foster home. We turnned out pretty good on the outside but need to work on what's eating at us in the inside. I am going to start journaling and hope it helps and reach out for group support as well. That happened in1981 when I was 10 and we both aged out of foster care. I joined the Army Reserve after high school and we both have college degrees and I have 2 wonderful kids (22 and 17) that make everyday worth living.

im really glad u decided to make a positive change :) sorry to hear about what happened earlier in your life but i think that with a positive attitude u can overcome anything, ive been struggling with a non responsive epileptic disorder since the age of 13 and im now 23 ive lost basically my entire childhood and dropped out of campus 3 times due to hospitization for long periods of time and terrible side effects, but im happily engaged now and support is all all around me, weather it be from my fiancee or from FS i know that staying positive always help in the end :) good luck and all the best
