Ok so Im only 22yrs old but all my life ive been struggling with my weight due to a medical condition.

I suffer from Tonic Clonic Temporal Lobe Epilepsy :(, I was diagnosed at the age of 13 and thats when the weight started piling on but I was still young and it didnt bother me but as I got older I because more self concious and aware of my situation thus leading to me developing depression as well and I always turned to food as a source comfort.

Its not the medical condition itself thats making me this way but more so the medication as im currently on roughly 15-20 tablets a day everyday NO execptions.

I joined fatsecret to perhaps get the support needed to lose some weight that I lack at home because I was told that if I lose weight they will lessen my medication :D :D :D thus leading to less side effects and making me feel much better (i hope).

Support me and help motivate me as become despondent very quickly :( and I will do the same. well evan if I dont get the support il still help support those I can lol

Diablo360x is a retard to think every single persons body works the same unless they have some sort of disease...

firstly regardless of disease everyone's body works differently...everything plays a role in the way in which a person loses weight, digests food and builds muscle ie - race, weather, bone mass, height along with other genetic, environmental and psychological factors

secondly I have a disease and the way you bluntly mentioned it in your previous comment show you have no lack of empathy for anyone other than yourself.

Is it possible to lose weight without physical exercise?
@swthart291......dont confuse ketosis with ketoacidosis,, saying that being in ketosis is a bad thing is a generalized statement to be more specific its bad for people with diabetes, just curious to know what are the "among other things"

thanks for the advice, i just was curious because been lifting heavy recently and was told glutamine is important supplement to take but i was confused because its found in all the stuff i eat

so i take it the glutamine is more for the healing process and speed up muscle recovery after a high intensity workout???
