So my HUGE indulgence day totaled 1003 calories. WOW! I REALLY threw caution to the wind. I just didn't have an appetite. I made myself eat a bowl of cereal for dinner. I'm afraid I'm not getting enough calories, and my body is going to go into starvation mode. I'm also afraid I'm going to stop eating. I've done this before. When life stresses me out I stop eating. I really don't want to do that. It's a bad diet, because then the weight comes back with a vengeance. In my mind I want to go pig out just to prove I can do it, but in my stomach I'm afraid to do that because I don't want to gain any of my weight back. Uuuugh!!!

Diet Calendar Entry for 13 July 2014:

Maybe it's time to find a new eating plan. Something that will entice you to eat. You will go into starvation mode. Stop it now and get back on track.

The plan I'm on I can eat whatever I want. It's a calorie counting plan. I went to the grocery store and bought an Amy's cheddar bake which I love, and I bought "meatballs", to make a sub with, which I NEVER do, I try and avoid a lot of fake meat, but by the time I got home...meh. Just didn't care anymore.

I am supposed to be eating 1200 calories a day, but I'm struggling to get there.

Instantcrazy, can I suggest at least supplementing what you are eating with protein powder? A fruit and/or veggie smoothie is something you can work on during the course of the day. Personally I don't think pigging out in the answer either. Depending on what you're eating now and what you might choose to 'pig out' on, it might seriously disagree with your digestive system. I can really only see that making things worse. Perhaps a couple T of peanut butter a couple times a day. Or maybe some cheese would be nutritious and help your calorie intake as well. I agree that radical dietary swings one way or the other aren't a good thing.

I did buy some protein powder, but I haven't used it yet. That is a good idea. Yeah, I'm kind of in a real weird place right now. I'm hoping to work past it and get back to eating normal and healthy. I'm usually pretty good at listening to my body. Like if I'm craving broccoli, I eat broccoli etc. Right now I'm not really craving anything. No, I take that back, I was craving a pb&j the other night, and I had a pb & honey for breakfast yesterday. I hate this because I love food. Wish me luck!
