The Eternal Hover.
At least my weight came back down. I am sore from my last two workouts and it feels great.
I'm starting to get toned... Sweet! I only have a teeny tiny little bit of "Granny Jiggle" now, and ab definition on the UPPER part of my stomach (that lower part... UGH... is that just the absolute LAST part a woman looses fat?!). My quads are showing more but I don't really care to build muscle in my legs (as if that's easy to avoid) because they're already so muscular from years of marching band... haha.
Spots I want/need to work on:
-Arms a little bit more. I would like to be stronger there.
-Back. Ugh. I HATE my back. I still feel like I have so much fat right in the spots where my bra goes across and it makes that awful looking bulge. I will continue to do cardio to try to get rid of it, but any recommendations for good back exercises are very welcome. The rowing-type weight machine and the lat pull machine at the gym don't really feel like they're doing the trick.
-My thighs/butt. Ok, well, I like my butt, but would like it to be more muscle and less fat, haha. I would love to slim down my thighs but I just don't think that is going to happen. They are already muscular and pretty much any kind of cardio uses those muscles, so I guess that keeps them big. If I'm wrong about it, please correct me.
-My chest. Well, I've been working on it a little and can definitely tell a difference. And believe me, I am liking that difference. Hahaha.
I know I can eat well. I just need to make myself do it. I've been having will power/determination struggles recently. It's all this damn stress. My eating has been weird lately because I've been so broke, I've been having to eat whatever my parents have in their house... which isn't much... Payday is tomorrow and I should be able to afford to stock up on some healthy stuff again.
I (think) I (mostly?) do well in the gym. When I make myself go. This week I've been good about it. Need to keep it up. I know that exercise is the only thing that is going to get me to the body I want. I worry if I'm pushing myself hard enough, using enough weight, doing enough cardio, etc. I feel like a noob all over again. I've been trying to step up the intensity.
Well... I've rambled a lot.
Sorry. Haha.
