I did something amazing this week. Well - 3 things. First - I have started jogging again - albeit I learnt that if you shorten your stride it lessens the impact on your joints. So on Thursday I stared back jogging - very short strides I might add - but I went for about 750m in one go. Now, that is truly extraordinary. I couldn't believe it. Oh wow.
2nd thing is on Saturday I went for another jog at a sports ground - I was running around the netball courts and then back to work - thought I might have done 1k. But, according to google measuring - it was 1.5 flippin k's. How awesome is that. I am so excited. And thirdly, but most important - I gave my word to losing .5 kilo - which I did. I am down to 110.7. I did see a 110.3 on the scales - but as I said before - what I weigh on Saturday afternoons is just what I way on Saturday afternoons. Giving my word to this gave me something to commit to, when I felt a loss of power around eating - I just went back to that I gave my word to this community.
All of this took place inside of my being my word and what I am giving my word to next is being under 110 by Saturday 19/06/21.
What are you giving your word to.....

Hi Wendy - I started at around 100kilos, jogged every morning just as long as I felt comfortable - no huffing & puffing, gently, and with a strict diet about 2 years later I’m now maintaining at 65kilos (I’m 165-ish centimetres tall) - I credit a lot of my journey to clear headedness thanks to ritualistic morning jogging. You go girl!
