This week I celebrate my Six Month Anniversary with Weight Watchers.
I have many non-Weight Watcher friends who are very supportive of my weight loss
efforts and they are very excited for me and my success thus far. I love each
and everyone of them dearly.
I have made many new friends, not only at my local meetings but especially here
on line. Some how I feel an undescribable camaraderie to you my newer Weight
Watcher friends because you know exactly what I am going through. Our numbers
may not be identical but our feelings and struggles are common only to us.
Before Weight Watchers, We knew On Size does not fit all.
Before Weight Watchers, We knew that pinch feeling we get at a restaurant when
we have to ask for a table instead of a booth.
Before Weight Watchers, We knew what it is like to be discriminated against with
a simple look.
Before Weight Watchers, We knew that when others hurt us with their words or
thoughtless comments, it is nothing compared to what we say to ourselves when we
are beating our self up inside.
With Weight Watchers, I know that I am not alone.
With Weight Watchers, I know what to order at that restaurant, and have already
picked out what my favorite booth will be.
With Weight Watchers, I know that those who pass judgment on me for my size, are
missing out on knowing who I really am, and when I reach my goal, I do not want
to know them then either. I know you all, and that is why I will never need
them.
