Kiki8123's Journal, 18 April 2014

Every little bit counts! Considering I lost over 2 lbs last week, I'm feeling good with these results. Still haven't had a gain since I buckled down (D-Day was 2/22/14) so pretty proud of that. 😊

Now, I must, however, admit defeat to my buddy Bwy in our first weight loss challenge which ended today. I came within 3.6 lbs from reaching my goal while The Winner, Mr. Bwy, reached his goal and actually surpassed it! 👏👏👏👏. Look at his journal, he even received a certificate from the Queen! 😉. So, Bwy and I are off on our next goal. Wish us both luck. 🍀

212.8 lb Lost so far: 13.8 lb.    Still to go: 37.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Thank you Draglist but we should also be congratulating Kiki for more than one reason. I challenged her to lose an amount of weight and she readily accepted that challenge - congratulations Kiki well done........ OK so Kiki did not make target but she did really well by losing weight anyway....well done Kiki.... Kiki has also now agreed to lose 14.5 lbs plus her short fall in the challenge of 4.5 lbs making a total of 19 lbs by 30 May (about 3 lbs per week)...This is one hell of a challenge but I know she will go all out giving her very best as she will not want to fall short a second time....well done Kiki you are a superb adversary.

Thanks! Well, I have suggested to Bwy that my challenge will be to get under 200 lbs by May 30. That's in 6 weeks so a little over 2 lbs a week. I will have to buckle down to make it happen. Wish me luck!

You do not need luck Kiki dear you need that which you have in abundance.....will power and determination. Your goal of losing just over 2 lbs which is 1 kg per week is so achievable with the correct food and good exercise. It means that you have to learn a new phrase which is two terrible words "NO THANKS". During my journey I have attended weddings, birthday and funerals (five in one month) and had to use that phrase many times while my mouth watered and winged at me but it can be done if you really want to lose the fat. By posting the above you have set a presidence as you have publicly announced your intention. This is just brilliant well done I admire your courage as it will also give a little extra motivation as if you do not achieve goal then everybody will know about it...lol
