I had to fight a HUGE craving for chocolate milk!!!!!
My brothers had me buy it for them today, and its still sitting in the fridge.
Its true what they say, cravings only last 15 mins. I busied myself with some other things and I dont even want it anymore. Woohoo!

When I am practicing a healthy life style, I notice little things that make big difference.
When i eat correctly and exercise, my skin always feels so smooth and tight, especially on my face. I dont break out as much. I have much more energy and want to be out and about. I have a lot more confidence and patients. Stress is more manageable. My moods are better. I just feel much, much better all around.

It is definitely something that takes discipline and commitment. Its hard work. But this really is worth it. And I have found that the longer I stay on track, the easier it is. Once I stop eating junk food for awhile, I dont crave it. I have what i want as long as I know how much I am getting [and by adding just those 25-50 calories here and there, I feel soooooo much better already.]
I dont feel deprived or starving at night. I dont feel stressed about calories anymore. Especially since I am not in that mentality of "Yes! Less is ALWAYS better!" I used to cut things out completely, such as bread, red meat, eggs, cheese, avocados, nuts, peanut butter... and I used to binge on all those things, too. Now that i have sensibly incorporated them into my allowed calories for a day, I dont feel the need to have excess. I love peanut butter, and it really keeps me satisfied when I put it on an English muffin [something i would have never eaten in the past because it seemed like too many calories and too much fat for me].
I often find myself having smaller portions of things to satisfy my cravings for it. For example, if I want cheese, i'll have a small serving. It reduces the calories, fat, etc, but I still get enough to satisfy myself.
I like this new[er] way of eating.
I just hope my body does too, and I have a nice loss at the next weigh in! :D

I think you are doing exactly the right things to maintain your weight loss and healthy lifestyle. It's not about never eating a certain food again or forbidding yourself from eating peanut butter! It's about making reasonable choices daily. Besides, look at your results and what you have accomplished. WOW! You should be so proud of yourself. What you have done and continue to do is amazing!

What a great testimonial! Bravo! I personally have used Chocolate Almond Milk when having that chocolate milk craving. While it is 100 cals it is so good for you with lots and lots of minerals and calcium to boot that it is a great healthful indulgence. :)

Nice job! I agree with everyone here when they say you are doing exactly the right thing! Cutting things out completely only makes you miserable. I have to have chocolate every single friggin day. It is a requirement, so I have 2 hershey kisses after lunch and dinner. 50 calories and it cuts the craving. I can't wait to see your next weigh in. I know it is going to be great! Keep up that water intake!
