I love to eat healthy, but working shifts and getting going on a routine again after the holidays has been a struggle. It also didn't help that my boyfriend gave me a giant bag of pretzel M&M's for Christmas! I can't believe I still have some left! Overall, I want to focus on portion control and getting the proper balance of nutrients in my diet. I'm struggling at the moment because I don't feel like eating anything or I crave sweets randomly while I am working the night shift. Since I started my work week, I haven't had a candy binge. The goal is no candy binges during the work week and keep it in control on the weekends. I also want to get back to the gym, but the -15 degree weather is not helping with that. For now, I am off to sleep the day away and hopefully get up early enough with some inspiration to make it to the gym before my tuesday begins.
