So having the flu for the past week and being on 6 different medications has made the first few weeks of my new weight loss a bit of a challenge. My highlight was definitely when the doctor handed me the prescription for steroids and told me that I was going to gain weight by taking them. At that point I would have given anything to be healthy again.

Surprisingly though, I haven't overeaten or had anything "bad" (aside from a glass of Merlot last night!). Everything tastes like cardboard, probably because I'm still not 100% feeling better. I'll get there though - better late than never!

That glass of merlot is most likely good for you so there is no need to feel bad about that one. I hope you feel better soon!
