So after much debate, I decided this week that I would switch gyms and sign up at the local 24/7 gym and get my workout done in the morning. Sure I have to wake up much earlier..but now I don't feel like I'm taking time away from my family when I get home after working 10 hours a day. (this was the main reason for my hiatus)

Progress? -2 pounds :D that's right. I am so motivated to shed this spare tire that has been haunting me forever. I started this week by getting myself on the elliptical, treadmill and the arc trainer (which is my new favorite!!). The mix of cardio activities has definitely kept me motivated and pumped up before going to the gym.

My favorite part of this week is that I haven't been starving myself. Rather, I am doing what all diets recommend (consistently keeping myself fed)..with good stuff of course!

Oh yeah...yesterday, I may have splurged and had a few slices of Hawaiian pizza and some awesome Rotel dip..but you know what? I ain't depriving myself :) One day out of the week ain't nothing. It's not like I'm doing it all the time...right ??
