Today I finally managed to drag myself up and do the things I have set intention to do...journal, meditate, etc. That's positive. The meditation was short and my mind goes off on its little jaunts and I know it will be easier with practice. Started with 3 minutes and a candle today.

The weather is finally headed back toward winter in the PNW. The temperature will be higher (40s), but the clouds are rolling in and it will probably rain tonight. :/ It's hard to decide if I would prefer more cold and possibly more ... no, it's not hard to decide, really. I think I would like to live somewhere that winter is cold, snowy, but the sun shines on a regular basis. The rainy, dark, damp of the Pacific Northwest chills me through every winter. While the summers are fabulous, they may be too short to make up for the months of overcast. But I'm here for a few more years anyway, best just settle in to live with it.

I'm starting to get a routine down as far as exercise and training/cross training. If I don't make it routine I am far less likely to follow through. I think it's good to know myself that way. :)
