Looking forward to a new year and a new great feeling about myself. I am so grateful to find this site and the community; I need the support and accountability to succeed. I am so frustrated with the carb counter on this program and cannot figure out how to change it!!! Just a small detail but for someone like me with an all or nothing attitude...this does not help. Still getting CARBS counted instead of net carbs. I went to the my account setting and unchecked carbs...but it still shows on my diet calendar. Hopefully I will be able to fix it.

The food on this is so great. Being able to eat bacon and eggs and coffee for breakfast and avacado and turkey and cheese for lunch; I am in heaven!!! And the weight loss has begun; instant results is what I like!!!

Don't worry about the carb counter. All that you are really interested in is the net carbs. During induction you need to stay at 20 net carbs or less. Eventually you will be able to increase your net carbs at another stage in the Atkins diet. Of course exercise is a big reason that you will be able to increase this amount. Some people seem to stay on induction for a longer period than others so that they lose quickly and get to their goal sooner and others after a few weeks of induction go straight to O.W.L. (ongoing weight loss). I trust you have Dr. Atkins book that details all this information. Having that list of induction foods is a must. There are other lists to choose from when you go to another level. Don't mean to sound preachy, just want to be of help. You are well on your way with a positive attitude and yes it is great to see instant results. Just remember we all have plateaus eventually. We just have to stay the course until they break and don't give up. We Can All Do This With God's Help and a little help from our friends on Fatsecret. Happy New Year Rockseer!

On the calander it will always show total carbs instead of net. I just decided to use it as a tool for knowing how many total I have, since it seems when I eat a lot of high fiber veggies my total carbs go way up, and loss stalls.

Um, rather than unchecking carbs, check net carbs and then you have both. I like to keep my eye on total as well as net.

Rockseer, I am not on Atkins, but don't hold that against me. I am cutting back on my breads and such though. Happy New Year, new buddy... Bren
