To really know if any one diet is working, you need to give it a month. So many thing effect weight loss (age, genetics, sex (female/male),activity levels, kind of foods your eating, how much your eating, etc.) You also need to be realistic about how much you will lose each week. People with a huge amount to lose will lose more per week (usually) than those with smaller amounts. I've seen people on Weight Watchers who have lost 4 pounds in six weeks and they say the diet isn't working. Well if you are losing weight, than it's working , lol (just not as fast as you want it to). So whatever diet you are doing, give it some time. It takes our bodies time to get used to things. Find a plan that fits in to your life and allows you some flexibility. If you take in less than you expend, you will eventually lose. Make sure you track all your food honestly. Eat the right amount of calories to help you lose. Get plenty of protein and high fiber foods (they help us lose best). Drink your water (flushes out sodium and keeps things moving). Be active! Exercise helps us burn calories, lose fat and keeps our heart/body healthy. Good luck! You can do it!
