I'm on day 1, SB. My clothes are so tight, it's embarrassing! But what I'm wondering is if I can go to the local Chinese restaurant at lunchtime and get a pint of egg drop soup??? It's cold here in MI and it just sounds really good to me!

Word of caution! If you are in Phase I there are certain restrictions that apply. My rule of thumb has been when in doubt don't. The problem with restaurants is that there are so many additives (like sugar) that we don't know about. I may be wrong but I would say no.

Hey, check out the website calorie-count.com. I put in "Egg Drop Soup" and it came back with "with noodles" and "without noodles". For one cup w/o noodles, it is only 3 carbs. That's REALLY good for SB. You could even throw in a salad with that w/ low carb dressing. Yum!

Do you have a Thai restaurant near you? There is a soup there called Thom Yum soup & it has no noodles but lots of veggies & shrimp. Plus it's hot & spicy. Give it a try.
