Yay one pound down, right now I am at one pound a week loss. I am losing weight now that is the main thing I guess.

I am exercizing strenuously twice a week so some of this lack of loss could be inflammation plus my period due any time now so that doesnt help the scale.

I have been having trace to small to moderate readingsof ketosis according to the ketosticks so I know I am keeping the carbs down low.

The biggest and best accomplishment is that there has been no alcohol over the last week whatsoever. I am suppose to go away this weekend to the mountains with a new guy I have been seeing and he drinks like a fish. If I cant stay sober with him and he continues to drink alot around me I will have to lose him.

On a positive note I feel much more energetic and relaxed on a low carb and I am wondering if I dont have a food allergy to wheat like my daughter who is bonfide tested and true Celiac Disease....I think that it might be.

Congrats on the weight loss! You're right it could be a food allergy, or as Dr. A says most overweight people suffer from a carbohydrate allergy. I would definitely dump the BF. He sounds like he is going to be more trouble for you than he's worth. You are on your road to recovery and you do NOT need someone holding you back or encouraging you to fail! Personally and this is just mo, I wouldn't exercise beyond walking until you are within 15-20 lbs of goal. Exercise can sometimes cause weight gain not only from increased muscle, but if you are not consuming enough protein/fat and calories for the workout, your body will kick you out of ketosis and increase fat stores for latter use. KUTGW!
