My 18 year old son that is in his first year of college went to talk to a recruiter. He really wants to go into the Army. First off, of course I am proud of him. I would just rather he wait. He is in ROTC right now (not signed or contracted yet). He doesn't care for it and wants to go directly into active duty in the Army infantry. Would like to maximize his ASVAB score to possibly get special forces or rangers or something like that as an option. Oh my gosh. I'm trying not to completely have a hysterical breakdown... I know whatever choice he makes will be the right one for him but I am freaking scared! Ugh. :-/
