loveaic's Journal, 05 November 2010

Well, it is nice that I am now hovering right at 149-150 instead of 152-153. It is slow, but it is coming off at least :) I need someone to hide the Halloween candy! It still feel so big and bloated in my hips and tummy. I carry weight so much more in those areas. I know that is bad, but it is genetic. My upper body and lower body are toned and they look like they belong to a different person compared to my midsection which is flabby and my hips that have fat pockets on them. Maybe these are the areas that will disappear when I get closer to 135. I hope so. I thought I'd soon be approching a size 10, but it's still a few pounds away. Have to keep pushing through though to get a leg up on the holidays. Then, I need to still be good so I can maintain what I've lost and not gain anything between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Any weight lose is good. I don't mind my body except for my stomach. Everything else can stay the same as far as I am concerened. It seems the parts we hate the most are the ones that are the last to lose. Maybe because we gain weight there first and just to be mean our bodies lose it last.Lol, I don't know. Keep it up and you will get there.

It feels so good when the hover moves into a lower "decade." I'm sure your body will even out if you keep up the good work. We can't fix everything, and some places take longer to tone than others. But you'll get there. Hitting the holidays feeling strong and in control is so much better than hating yourself Jan 1.

Hey! I know I added you as a buddy, but I have been MIA here for a long time! Sounds like we have a lot in common from reading your profile! It is so hard to lose it around the tummy, isnt' it! It's a total struggle for me. Keep working out and focusing on the good food and it will eventually come off. It sure goes on easier than it comes off! Have a great Christmas.
