V-Girl's Journal, 04 November 2010

I've been missing in action here for more than a year. It's not that I haven't been "dieting" off and on this whole time, because I have. But, obviously it is much more off than on.... Because I have gained eight more pounds when I already needed to lose fifty. Part of me wants to just delete all my old journal entries because at this point they are just a blaring reminder of what a failure I have been at this stuff. But, I know being honest with myself and facing the reality of my tendency to make bad choices on a daily basis is what I have to do.

So I am going to make it a priority to pay close attention to my choices every day. Part of that will include tracking my food and weight. I am most successful when I stick to low carb, so that is what I will be doing for my food plan. I have to remember not to get frustrated at slower weight loss and give up. I also need to keep it together on the weekends and not over indulge when dining out. Those are the things I will start with this time.
