Don't quite understand what's happening. Have been following my points and have been drinking water but have gained a lb. taking in probably less than 1000 calories per day. Will keep trying and not get discouraged.

You shouldn't be taking in less than 1000 calories a day. That could inhibit weight loss and even make you gain. Are you eating all your daily points every day? Are you eating some of your flex points? Are you getting in your fruits, veggies, dairy and water? Are you exercising? Play around with your flex points. Vary your points every day. Add 5 flex points one day and eat your daily points the next. Just don't go under your daily points. Once and a while is no big deal, but every day can stop the loss. Good luck!
