I skipped class so we could go see the baby last night. She's so tiny! I got to hold her even though she's in intensive care. I just had to be careful how I held her b/c of all the tubes, IV's, etc. She even opened her eyes a little. She has a whole mess of dark hair. She looks a lot like her brother Noah.
Salem wanted to get Tony Lukes (cheesesteaks) on our way to the hospital. So, not the greatest day for eating. I will try to make up for it today. Lots of water!
I can't believe it's almost Halloweeen. Time is flying! The whirlwind holiday season is practically upon us.
I have $68 to live on until next payday. If I can make it without dipping into my savings I will hit a big personal financial milestone. Fingers crossed I can fight the urge to consume and spend spend spend! :)
Gratitude: 1) New baby in the family 2) Halfway through the week 3) First day of reading to a new first grader today!
Have a happy Wednesday all. :)

Tony Lukes!!! He was on Throwdown, right? I've always wanted to try it - I've actually never had a cheesesteak in my life, let alone a REAL Philly Cheesesteak! Next time we go into Philly, I'm totally getting one! Anyway, so cute that you got to hold the baby - did it make your clock start to tick??? lol
