Today is day 1. I have been dancing around the 140 mark for almost 8 months now. I'm happy to be back in my old clothes after the boys but now I want to be the old me again...the me from 20 years ago. I turn 41 on Sept 23. I'd like to be on my way to the new me. I am going to try Dukan. I need something very strict which is how I lost the first 60 lbs. I've proven to myself that through exercise I am very good at maintaining my weight but I'd rather maintain 125-130 rather than 140-145. By my son's 2nd birthday --- Oct 28th I want to be at my goal.

Plan: Follow 3-5 days of attack..not sure how long I can eat pure protein but I am going to shoot for at least 3 days. Then cruise with PP/PV alternating every day. When I hit 125 I will switch to Paleo like eating as I don't think the consolidation phase in dukan with the reintroduction of pasta and bread will lead to anything but weight gain for me. As soon as I have some I have to have the rest.

Working out 5-6 days per week is also my goal. Hope the PP days don't leave me drained. If so I will modify the diet slightly with a whey isolate after each workout. His diet recommends only 30 minutes of walking but that's not enough for me.

DH is so on board with this and will start Paleo a little earlier than me. He doesn't really have anything to lose but knows he doesn't feel as healthy as he could. He helped me clear out the pantry last night and helped me make the shopping list for what he will try to eat more of. More veggies in this house less breads and pastas. Even for the boys.

All right...here I go.
