I am trying to loose 150 lbs. I have been dieting for 2 weeks tomorrow and I lost 5 pounds. I then drank too much rum and gain 5 lbs in one night. I hope this is my body retaining water. I will check again in 3 days. I am trying not to get frustrated and I know I need to cut back on some of the calories I have been eating, recently. I have been kicking the sugar and refined carbs and no longer have cravings. Thank goodness! However, high protein doesn't have to equal high calories. I, definitely, feel stronger and more lean muscle has developed. My energy is higher. The fatigue and joint pain I used to feel has diminished a great deal. That alone is a big motivator.
