So...went to doctor, turns out its likely I have silent reflux, which is why I constantly cough and the cough is reduced with a low carb diet. Taking the pills just to ascertain that is what it is, and then I am going to see if losing weight and continuing a diet that is helpful for reflux doesnt help.
147.0 lb Lost so far: 1.0 lb.    Still to go: 32.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I hope you can get some relief w/ the pills your doc gave you. Your diet will help tremendously, and also figuring out which foods trigger it more than others - and trying to avoid those. Great job on the loss today - you're doing great!
