replacing them, of course. I'm annoyed because I actually paid someone good money to install these when I moved in. no cement under the risers, smaller beams than the original deck and not treated wood which means that these stairs are just the beginning of a bigger project. probably good. still cheaper than shopping online and I'm burning calories.

You could leave them off for awhile and burn some more calories jumping up there or pulling yourself up ;). But I’m like you, I’d replace them :D.

I’m afraid to start anything because I know as soon as I do they will close the doors at Home Depot and I won’t be able to finish. 😂

I have you in my prayers for good results. @Mike, they are doing single shift at Home Depot here, but I am only doing things where I have all the materials already. I want to wait the full two weeks or warm weather before venturing out for non-essentials. That said, I'm going to build a workbench this year, I think. I forget how much I love building stuff. The right side of the deck has a couple of support beams I will need help to replace, so that will have to wait as well. Ironically, when I do that I will need to remove the stairs I'm putting in right now.

Oh I see! We are not allowed out except grocery store or pharmacy. That's why I said that. Pictured you waiting two months without steps. 😉 I wish I was handy at all and I married the hubby for his looks so we throw a lot of money at others for repairs. 😆
