I've been struggling a bit as of late and need to get back to stopping when I first feel I'm full (back to the Paul McKenna rules)as I have kept eating past that point and then feel really full later. I am counting points but have been over by about 9 each day for 2 of the 3 days. Yesterday's meals were all really light, but then I added up my snacks alone and they were 13 points! Yikes! That is the kind of stuff that kills my efforts. I feel like I am eating so healthfully but then that will throw it all out the window. I really need to reel that in and plan it out for the day so I stay controlled and know what I can have to still enjoy it and stay within my points.

On the upside, I had a good workout at the gym yesterday. I am upping all my weights a little as I have been at the same for a long time now. I did squats with the bench press on my shoulders yesterday with 50 lbs added on. That was hard and my legs are feeling that today! So back to committing to counting points the next 3 days again and I will plan to report in with a lower number!!

Oh, by the way I saw someone I hadn't seen in a while and she said, "wow, every time I see you, you just keep getting skinnier and skinnier!" I have had some nice compliments like that. I really want to get my belly back down again and cut out these extra few pounds that are making me feel too puffy!

Have a good weekend. Rachel

Yes, I need to revisit The Golden Rules again, too. I did so well when I started them and now I have all but forgotten about them. Conscious eating takes conscious effort! Who knew? LOL. Let's do this, Rachel!

I'm right there with ya! My tummy was something I was getting really proud of as I had not seen it so small in 17 years and after 4 children. Now it's coming back. We will be okay, though, because we are aware and putting conscious effort into it! Count your points, exercise and have a great day!!
