Things got complicated for the past few days and I am missing a few days in my food diary.

Last Friday we threw a party and I was way over the amount of calories I should have eaten for the day, and once again, my parents took us for Chinese food on Saturday.

Not happy with myself, but at least I'm back here now and not giving up.

I've got an appointment next Thursday to get an ultrasound done on my thyroid gland. We've also got blood tests and a sleep test to do as well.

I am happy with the new Dr I have found so far as this is the first one that listened to my concerns and didn't just throw some pamphlets at me and tell me to come back in 3 months. I brought up the fact that I am looking at bariatric surgery. Apparently he thinks it may be something hormonal that could be changed to help me drop the weight. Likely Thyroid issues and drops in testosterone as I am getting older.

We will see. One way or another, its going to get expensive from here.
