I spent a great weekend in Brown County with 16 other girls, we had a great time. I wasn't really very good on my diet, but I figured I would transition from atkins to wight watchers. Atkins was just too complicated for me and summer is creeping up whether I figure it out or not. I got the weight watchers app in my phone so I am ready to go. Also, on my drive home I had to get some of my favorite fast food, Long John Silvers, cause I knew I wouldnt have it for a while. I had two peices of fish and hushpuppies. YUM. Then I had to work my volunteer hours at the animal shelter with heartburn all day, but it was worth it. It was a slow day, I didn't adopt out any kitties. We didn't have any kittens in the room which seems to slow things down alot. Oh well, I still enjoyed my time there.
Also, this weekend my stepdaughter turned 10, so we had an abundance of junk food and cake in the house. She had a party and eight girls showed up and seven spent the night. It seemed like she had a really good time. We got her a really cute, nice charm bracelet that we had picked up on a cruise at the duty free and three CDs. I was worried that she was a little young for the bracelet, but I think everyone should have one really nice peice of jewelry that makes you feel special. For me, its a 1carat diamond pendant from my husband and of course my wedding and engagement rings (which are Hearts on Fire...so sparkely!!)
So Monday morning was back to diet reality, including a trip to the gym after work. I was actually yawning on the treadmill, but I got thru an hour of cardio...yay me! Stuck to my points too.
