4th day. Half way through, and it did not go so great. I was doing good, but by dinner my step dad wanted me to get McDonald's to eat because we didn't have any food at the house (my and my sisters had been out shopping, no big deal). So I ate the McChicken without bread, mayo, or lettuce. Just plain meat. It was still about 10 carbs though... I forgot the meat was breaded :/. And we had a birthday party for my neighbor, so I ate one cupcake. It was so awful! I feel like I failed today. The half way day is supposed to be the day when you conquer your new diet. Not for me today, I guess. I will try harder tomorrow...only eating about 8 carbs. I need this weight to come off, and I need to work harder. I think I'm gonna start going to the gym to help speed up the process. We will see when I get my work schedule. Hard to stay positive, but I want to be fit sooo bad. So, tomorrow I'm gonna eat less and kick this diet's butt!

I looked at your calendar..... yep, you messed it up. Guess what? the three days before it were great. Today's gone, forget it. Tomorrow is the challenge. A helper hint: Think ahead. Check carb counts on fast food in your area. Find the lowest carb count for each place. If you can't remember them, write them down, keep them close. That way, no matter what comes around you can be ready. Most fast food has salad, but they are not always carb friendly!! McDonald's will happily grill you a special order. Hamburger patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion mayo and/or mustard (skip pickles and NO catsup and absolutely no SECRET Sauce) and ask for it in a box, they will serve it with a knife and fork. MOST fast food places are happy to accomodate if you ask nicely! Remember, when you fall off the horse, the key is to get right back on! Good luck, Gina
