Where did this past week go???? I know I was under alot of pressure to get that last inspection report out and it took FOREVER to write the @#$%$$# report: 88 pages plus a 45 page list of patient affected by their bad practices! Good thing it happen after my vacation! Makes me leery of the next inspection though, what if I find another laboratory with such problems?!
Saturday I was at another Arts & Craft Show...out doors-sunny and hot, about a 100 degrees! Thank goodness there was a breeze and by afternoon I was in the shade. I did good, sold lots of beaded bracelets, earrings, and bookmarks. I was asked to set up at a couple of other shows in the fall. Guess I need to be stocking up finished projects. I am having to plan for Christmas shows already! oh well, I luv it!
Next week its off to East Texas for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversery. 3 days and 2 nights with my husbands family, & meeting lots of people I have never met is enough, any more and I would just have leave him there and let him find his own way home. The sister in laws have planned a fancy, dress up, catered event.....I have been told I have a part in some presentation or skit BUT I don't have to sing or dance! My husband being the oldest and only son gets to make the TOAST, this task for the guy who nevers has anything to say at family gathers unless he is telling secrets or correcting me........Sure hope one of the sisters writes out toast or speech for him! Ought to be an interesting weekend.
I have not stopped my "diet" I still aim for 20 carbs or less but I haven't kept a food journal for several weeks plus I need to get back to thr city rec center for my water walking and exercises noe that the kids swimming lessons are finished. Feel like I have been playing hooky. Tomorrow the scales!
